Personalized Support for Meeting Your Goals

Psychological services vary from practitioner to practitioner, and not every therapist will be the right fit for you. That is why I share my approach transparently and offer a free 15 minute consultation before you make any commitments.

I offer short and long term counselling to adults and adolescents seeking support with an array of mental health concerns. I am formally trained in a scientist-practitioner model of psychology and use evidence-based assessment and intervention in my practice. I understand that mental health is not exclusively about what goes on in our heads, but is strongly related to what happens in our physical bodies and in our social worlds.

I meet each client where they are at and work collaboratively with them to explore the problem, garner insight, and determine the best way forward. Part of my job is to support you in generating new understandings and possible solutions to what it is that ails you.

I have the tools and clinical experience to help you meet your goals and reclaim your life. Contact me if you think I might be the professional who can best support you.

You can check out the About Me section for more information about me, my credentials, my areas of practice, and my approach.

A Bit About Counselling

Engaging in counselling, or talk therapy, is an opportunity to enhance and promote your positive growth, well-being, and mental health. The process is collaborative and looks a bit different for each person. Treatment might focus on reducing distress and undesirable symptoms, improving coping skills and functioning, providing psychoeducation, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

What To Expect At Your First Visit

Your first visit is about us getting to know one another. You will have the opportunity to learn more about me and my approach to therapy, and I will get to know more about you and your reasons for seeking support. Typically, I will conduct a general assessment and gather some information about your current problems and relevant history in this first session that can help inform our work together.
